Cost of pullover

I enquired with wahmee (the class-t-shirt.com ppl) about the cost of the pullover. They said that if we use 2-3 colours for printing, it'll cost $25. I'm asking again if it will be any less if we only use one colour cos I don't think our design will need more than one colour (right?). Yep. But the downside is that the only base colours they have is black, white, grey and navy blue. So we can't have any of the interesting colours. The wahmee ppl are the ones who printed 209's pullovers but apparently the cost has risen since then. Unfortunately, I don't think the Toa Payoh uncle prints pullovers. He only does T-shirts. I think if you want him to print pullovers must buy on our own first which is quite hard to find! If any of y'all know places that may have better prices and more choices of colours tell me k! Let's hope to get this printed by the end of the term! :D

pullover design

Ok since we were on the topic of fate, I thought of hanging dice. So I came up with this. Tell me what yall think

pullover updates

Ok pullover progress is quite slow since we're still waiting for survey responses to come in. 19 people have responded to date. Good job! But due to urgency, I'll close the survey on monday, 25th feb and we'll make do with what we have there. Things that are more or less confirmed are:

1. that we're using "FeightED never faded" as our slogan, due to popular demand. Though other suggestion y'all might wanna consider are "together until stupid" and "blonded like that"
2. We'll be having the thicker material instead of the thinner one.

These are subject to change until monday. So if enough people vote otherwise by monday, then it will be changed. But I think it's unlikely since the above mentioned stuff was far more in demand than the alternative.

Things that are in a close fight are:

1. Colour. Black is still more popular. But there were plenty of interesting suggestions that we should seriously consider. So I'll just create a poll by the sidebar with all the suggestions. Since its just one qn don't need another survey lah :P But make sure you vote! (I would personally like to sell the colour brown! It is awesome with green and it just looks classy and unique without being too striking and overbearing xD)
2. Collar. V-neck is winning! But still some people raised their concern that we should choose the collar based on the design so we can choose a collar that fits the design better. So I will postpone the confirmation of collar until after the final design is out. Then yall can choose to change your vote if necessary.
3. Front design. Although most want the design to be incorporated into the words(like 408 class tee), some are concerned that this will bring attention away from the awesome slogan and it will look less dramatic. So we'll just keep this open and see how it goes.
4. Back design. Some ppl think we should confirm collar first which kinda makes sense. Some people suggested we have it personalised (think 209o5's pullover. they had names.) it might be quite ex. but we can find out from the 209 ppl how much and where they printed. Some people suggested reusing the planet from back of class tee/class painting. That will be quite cute. But I suggest we use the simpler version like in the painting cos the one from class tee may make the pullover look too cluttered.

Yo friends! I was bored doing homework (who isn't) so I started doodling on the foolscap and came up with this. I thought the f(eight)ed looks better sans the brackets. Yea the fonts are quite messy but that's my basic idea. Oh and I didn't bother with a font for never. What y'all think?

Hello friends! There has been a sudden surge of love and enthusiasm for 408 from a lot of us and we've been having a whole bunch of informal meetings and a lot of people don't get notified, much to their disappointment. So this blog will serve as a channel of communication. We will announce meetings, post pictures, rant, make suggestions and anything else you want to do here. I've added every single fouroheight person on my msn contact list here which should be everyone unless you changed your email add without my knowledge ><

Oh yes I think we should have commitees to make things easier:

Birthday comm. To make sure everyone's birthday is celebrated and no one ages unnoticed ><

Publicity comm. To publicise events, gatherings, breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Make sure everyone turns up and drag them kicking and scratching if necessary.

Welfare comm. To initiate welfare stuffs and propose ideas for gatherings/receive ideas from the rest of the class and make them work.

Treasury. To collect random change that we get from restaurants after paying the bill and cannot account for.

Secretary. To minute/post-mortem events and gatherings. (I volunteer :D)

Yeap that should be it. Ppl please volunteer for the positions! (This is scarily reminiscent of Munchin' Mamas)

1. Class pullover!

Yes! We're going to be the first ever sec four class to have our very own pullover in jc cos we're cool like that. We decided on a pullover instead of a t-shirt since RJ LTs generally have arctic conditions so a pullover is most practical. And we can parade our fouroheightness around the freezing LTs with pride! This is the most urgent issue because we all want our fouroheight brand pullovers asap. So pls cooperate and respond to the poll!
We decided that a black base would go best with green and white, for obvious reasons. But it was also suggested by pf that if we have a more unique colour we'll stand out and then fouroheight will be so easy to spot! xD
We also debated about whether to have a hood (cos hoodies are just cool) or to have a v-neck (cos v-necks will look really good with a collared blouse).
Lastly, we discussed the cool slogan we should have on the pullover and Yunting the genius (for once) DB suggest " F(eight)ed never faded" to which the entire table went "awwwww!" Yea we all think its a really cool slogan! xD But of course, we're open to new suggestions!

2. Class ORA!


We badly want to be back in business! Doing ORA together will be a great way to bond. Plus, we need to raise all the funds we can if we're chalet-ing again this year! So we have decided. The question in the survey asking if you want to have ORA is REDUNDANT. We just wanna see how interested y'all are :P

3. Class chalet!

We will have class chalet the second this year. This time we have been promised more roomy and comfy premises at quite a low price($70 I think). We'll try to organise better so we have a programme and it'll be funner.

Yup and the rest of the day was spent ranting about how much fouroheight is missed!
